“Despite being entangled in perilous hit jobs, she laments the emptiness of her life. However, Yelena’s sense of purpose is reignited as the thrilling teaser reveals her encountering some of Marvel’s most notorious characters.”

“Everyone here has done bad things… So, someone wants us gone,” Yelena (Florence Pugh) warns her fellow antiheroes in the gripping trailer for Marvel’s upcoming blockbuster, Thunderbolts. The team, including John Walker/U.S. Agent (Wyatt Russell), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), and Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko), faces a dire threat of elimination after completing missions for a mysterious villain. “This could get messy,” Yelena cautions, setting the stage for an action-packed adventure with the tagline: “Careful Who You Assemble.”

The trailer also introduces us to Lewis Pullman’s Bob and Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ Val, who welcomes the Marvel team of sudden expendables.

Thunderbolts faced delays due to last year’s writers and actors strikes, but it’s now set to hit theaters on May 2, 20251. Following the Los Angeles labor actions, Geraldine Viswanathan stepped in for Ayo Edebiri, and Top Gun: Maverick star Lewis Pullman replaced Steven Yeun due to scheduling conflicts.

This highly anticipated Marvel team-up movie also stars Sebastian Stan and David Harbour, with Jake Schreier directing and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige producing. Executive producers include Louis D’Esposito, Brian Chapek, Jason Tamez, and Scarlett Johansson.

After the success of “Normal People” and “Conversations With Friends,” Rooney told the New York Times that she has “decided not to accept any offers to option the rights” for her third book, “Beautiful World, Where Are You?” The novel, released in 2021, will remain solely in book form for now. Rooney’s fourth book, “Intermezzo,” is set to be released in September 2024.
